Our Cosy Bar
The bar at The White Lion Inn is the heart of the pub—a warm, characterful space where locals catch up, walkers rest their feet, and drinks are poured with care.
Set beneath exposed beams, our double-sided bar offers plenty of space to pull up a stool, lean in for a chat, or simply enjoy a quiet moment with your favourite drink. It’s the kind of bar that feels welcoming whether you’re popping in for a quick pint or settling in for the afternoon.

Welcoming Open-plan Bar
At the front of the bar, you’ll find a bench and a bar stall, seating for around 5 people, this area is best suited for guests who like to stand at the bar, the perfect spot to catch up on village life and connect to the locals.
At the back, there’s a small snug room that seats up to 12, offering a more private corner to escape to—cosy, comfortable, and full of charm.
We keep the bar stocked with local beers, small-batch spirits, and an excellent range of fine wines.
